📍 The Crawl · French Quarter
Stop 01 2:00 PM 🍸 Bar
The Carousel Bar & Lounge
214 Royal St · Hotel Monteleone · French Quarter

NOLA's only revolving bar — spinning since 1949 inside the iconic Hotel Monteleone. One full rotation every 15 minutes, live jazz nightly, and craft cocktails that have made it one of Vogue's Top 20 Bars in the World. Start the crawl in style, bride squad.

🥂 Order: The Vieux Carré — the house signature, born right here at the Monteleone. Shaken, not stirred.
🎠 Spin Challenge: Everyone takes a sip of their drink while the bar is mid-rotation. If you spill, you owe the bride a compliment. No excuses — the carousel waits for no one.
Stop 02 3:15 PM 🍸 Bar
Jewel of the South
1026 St. Louis St · French Quarter

Rated one of the World's 50 Best Bars, tucked inside an 1830 Creole cottage. A lush tropical courtyard, an antique 1880s London bar, and cocktails so precise they feel like witchcraft. This is where NOLA's cocktail history was literally born.

💎 Order: The Brandy Crusta — invented here in the 1850s. Or the Jewel Sazerac if you're feeling bold.
👑 Courtyard Photo Challenge: Get the full squad in a photo in the tropical courtyard. Most dramatic pose wins — the bride picks the winner.
Stop 03 4:15 PM 🍽️ Food
Café Du Monde
800 Decatur St · Jackson Square · French Quarter

An absolute non-negotiable. The open-air landmark right on Jackson Square has been serving beignets and café au lait since 1862. Powdered sugar WILL get on your outfit. That's part of the ritual. The bride goes first.

☕ Order: Beignets (3 per order) + café au lait. Nothing else. This is sacred.
🍩 Powdered Sugar Challenge: Who can eat a beignet without getting ANY powdered sugar on themselves? Video proof required. Spoiler: no one wins this challenge. Ever.
Stop 04 5:00 PM 🔮 Witchy
Voodoo Authentica
612 Dumaine St · French Quarter · Open until 7 PM

The real deal — a practitioner-owned voodoo cultural center and temple since 1996. Everything in the shop is handmade by local practitioners. Browse gris-gris bags, handcrafted voodoo dolls, potion oils, and ritual candles. Spiritual readings available ($45/30 min). Not a tourist trap — actual sacred energy in here.

🕯️ Must-Do: Each person picks a candle or gris-gris bag with an intention. The bride gets a love & protection charm — shop together, choose with care.
🔮 Intention Setting: Everyone picks one word for the bride's marriage and whispers it over their chosen item before purchasing. No sharing until after the ceremony. A little NOLA magic for the journey ahead.
Stop 05 7:00 PM 🍸 Bar
Pat O'Brien's
718 St. Peter St · French Quarter · Est. 1933

The birthplace of the Hurricane cocktail and one of the most legendary bachelorette bars in America. Dueling pianos, a flaming fountain courtyard, and the most fun 28oz you'll ever hold. You're required by NOLA law (we made that up) to have one Hurricane here.

🌀 Order: The Hurricane — rum, passion fruit, citrus. Comes in the souvenir glass. Keep the glass, it's iconic.
🎹 Piano Bar Challenge: Request a song at the dueling pianos — it has to be something embarrassing and the bride has to dance when they play it. The maid of honor picks the song. No vetoes.
Stop 06 8:30 PM 🍽️ Food
Justine
225 Chartres St · French Quarter

A sexy, elevated French brasserie in the heart of the Quarter — pressed-tin ceilings, deep velvet banquettes, and a menu that makes you feel like you're in Paris but with better jazz. The insane burger and mac & cheese are cult-favorite orders, and the French 75 here is one of the best in all of NOLA.

🥂 Order: French 75 to start, then the burger or steak frites. The mac & cheese is non-negotiable for the table.
💌 Toast Time: Every person at the table gives the bride one piece of unsolicited marriage advice — the funnier the better. Go around. No crying allowed (crying allowed).
Stop 07 10:00 PM 🎤 Nightlife
Cat's Meow Karaoke
701 Bourbon St · French Quarter · Open until 3 AM

The bachelorette headquarters of Bourbon Street — and it's earned that title. Three-for-one drink specials, a massive karaoke stage, and a crowd that is absolutely here to party. The bride sings. Non-negotiable. This is the final boss of the crawl.

🎤 3-for-1 specials all night. Put the bride's name on the karaoke list the second you walk in. Don't wait — the list fills up fast.
🎤 Final Boss: The bride picks ONE song for the whole squad to perform together. Full commitment only. The crowd decides if you pass or fail. This is what NOLA bachelorettes are made of.

🎉 Crawl Complete! 🎉

You survived the French Quarter. The bride is officially ready for forever. 💍
Now get back to the hotel — or don't. It's NOLA.

🚗 Getting Around: Everything on this crawl is within a 10–15 minute walk of each other. Keep rideshare apps ready for the end of the night. Uber and Lyft both operate heavily in the Quarter.
